Step Surge is a new interval step workout that features 6 exciting step combinations and 6 compound strength training sections using dumbbells. The combination of the step and surge intervals using the dumbbells creates a great workout that delivers not only cardiovascular benefits but also muscle strength and endurance gains. A focused abdominal and core section follows the main workout. Equipment needed: Step, Dumbbells 3-12 lbs.
The DVD will have multiple options and pre-mixes for different lengths of workouts to achieve optimal fitness results.
Workout Break Down and Times:
Warm-up 5:45 minutes
Step Surge 49:30 minutes
Cool-Down 3:00 minutes
Abdominals 5:30 minutes
Stretch 3:30 minutes

Tonya Larson is an AFAA Certified Group Exercise and Step Instructor and is also certified in Prenatal Postnatal Fitness and Bosu. She earned a BA in Theater from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from Victory Bible Institute’s School of Worship & Biblical Studies in Tulsa, OK. In addition to instructing group exercise classes, Tonya is a fitness writer that focuses her research on long-term lifestyle change. Her debut workout DVD, "Step Pump – Body Mind Spirit Fit" was released in 2008 and received excellent reviews.
