| October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and BayView Entertainment is proud to present a special DVD release - Climb Against the Odds, a stirring documentary film of courage and survival.
In 1998 twelve women embarked on an extraordinary expedition up Alaska's Mt. McKinley. At 20,320 feet, just below the Arctic Circle, it is the highest peak in North America. The conditions they faced on one of the world's most treacherous mountains were the worst in decades. But climbing Mt. McKinley was not their only journey, of the twelve women attempting to reach the summit, five had also survived breast cancer. Teamed up with seven young women determined to beat the odds, their powerful story is a testament to the strength and courage of women in the face of life threatening challenges. Gloriously filmed in the mountainous peaks of Alaska, narrated by Academy Award winner, Olympia Dukakis, and featuring an extraordinary soundtrack, this is an adventure not to be missed.
The DVD includes DVD-ROM based Breast Cancer Prevention resources and 75 cents from the sale of the DVD will benefit www.breastcancerfund.org .
The DVD comes in the industry's FIRST 100% recycled BIO-DVD package, printed with vegetable-based inks and in a space-saving slim case size.
